Article 80. Exemption from payment of court costs
On payment of court costs in state income exempt:
1) the plaintiffs - the workers and employees - in suits to recover wages and other claims arising from employment relationships; farmers - on claims for wages on farms and other requirements related to employment;
2) plaintiffs - for any claims arising out of copyright, as well as from the right to discovery, inventions, rationalization proposals and industrial designs;
3) plaintiffs - on claims for alimony;
4) plaintiffs - claims for compensation for damage caused by injury or other harm to health, as well as the death of a breadwinner;
5) social insurance authorities and the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation on the regressive actions to recover from the injurer sum benefits and pensions paid to the victim, the social welfare of claims for recovery of improperly paid benefits and pensions, the Pension Fund bodies of the Russian Federation claims to charge insurance premiums , fine and penalty arrears on contributions to the Pension Fund of Russian Federation;
6) the plaintiffs - claims for compensation for property damage caused by the crime;
7) citizens - with appeals in cases of divorce;
8) public prosecutors, as well as governments, trade unions, public enterprises, institutions, organizations, collective farms and other co-operative organizations, their associations, other community organizations or individuals who have filed in the cases stipulated by law, make application to the court for protection rights and interests of others;
9) financial authorities - for filing a court application for special proceedings;
9-1) citizens - when filing in court of statements on adoption (Adoption) of the child;
10) citizens, administrative authorities and officials - in cases arising from administrative legal relations, except in cases provided for in Article 90.1 of this Code;
11) side - for disputes arising from damages caused to citizens by illegal conviction, illegal criminal charges, drug use as a preventive measure of detention or illegal imposition of administrative penalties in the form of arrest or correctional work.
The legislation of the USSR and RSFSR may provide for other exemptions parties from paying legal costs to the state revenue.
The court or judge, on the basis of property the citizen has the right to release him from payment of court costs to the state revenue.
